The Great Lakes Shrine Association 73rd Annual Fall Business Session
Hosted by Moslem Shrine in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from September 28th - October 2nd, 2022
To the Nobles of their respective Shrines that are in The Great Lakes Shrine Association,
The Fall Session of The Great Lakes Shrine Association will be held at Moslem Shrine in Ann Arbor Michigan, from September 28th - October 2nd, 2022. Thursday afternoon will be the first annual Corn Hole Tournament. Each Shrine is encouraged to bring 5 or more teams for this event. Please contact the President or Secretary and let them know how many teams you will have present for this event. It will take some time to create the brackets and figure time needed for the tournament. Thursday is also the lady’s luncheon and station dinners that evening.
The two hotels we are using are the Weber Boutique, 3050 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor, 734-769-2500 and the Wyndham Garden 2900 Jackson Ave, 734-665-4444. Rooms are reserved under "Shriners Association 2022 Conference". You can book these anytime. Rate is $109 per night at both hotels. Please use these until rooms are no longer available. Using other hotel facilities leaves us short of room usage and we are paying some heavy costs because of that. Please help us meet those numbers so that we can keep costs down for all of you.
Thursday 9/29 will be the business session with the annual meeting, reports, elections, necrology, etc. Thursday afternoon will be the first annual Corn Hole Tournament. Friday will be the competition day with Motor Corps, Clowns, Bagpipes and Horse Patrols competing. Friday evening concludes with the President’s/Awards Banquet. This year’s banquet will be held on the University of Michigan campus. Slacks and a Big Ten jersey are the suggested attire for the event.
Saturday, 9/30 will be the parade with the unit banquets that evening.
