Tom was born January 30, 1928 in St. Louis, MO, the son of the late Thomas Emil and Marie Caroline nee Polk, Barschak. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Barschak. He is survived by a daughter Johelen Jean VonBonkel, a son Dale Thomas Barschak. Tom was a military veteran serving in the U. S. Army Infantry in 1950-1952.
Tom was raised a Master Mason at East Lodge A.F.&A.M. #504 in Fairview Heights, IL on October 30, 1950. He was a Royal Arch Mason in the Belleville Chapter #106, R.A.M., Belleville, IL and Franklin Chapter #8, R.A.M., Alton, IL. Tom belonged to the Belleville Council #67, R. & SM, Belleville, IL and the Alton Council #3 CM, Alton, IL. He also belonged to the Tancred Commandery #50, K.T., Belleville, IL and Belvidere Commandery #2, K.T., Alton, IL. He received the Scottish Rite degrees on April 24, 1956 in the Valley of Southern Illinois. Tom received his MSA on June 1, 1973 in Qunicy, IL and Thirty-third Degree September 28, 1977 in Pittsburgh, PA. He served as the Sovereign Prince, Cahokia Council of Princes of Jerusalem in 1971-1972. He was also on the Scottish Rite Board of Directors from 1974 – 1986. He also was a member of the DeMolay LOH; Order of the Eastern Star, Fairview Heights, IL and Royal Order of Jesters. Tom was the Potentate of Ainad Shrine in 1986. Per the family’s request there will be no memorial services.

Thomas Joseph Barschak, 87 of O'Fallon, IL formerly of Edwardsville passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
Tom was born on January 30, 1928 in St. Louis, MO; son of the late Thomas Emil and Marie C. (Polk) Barschak. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and later became a purchaser at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. He was a member of the Masonic East Lodge #504; Scottish Rite Bodies, Past Sovereign Prince, Past member board of directors, MSA, and 33 degree; Ainad Shrine Temple, past member executive committee and past Potentate; Demolay Legion of Honor, Egyptian Preceptory; Royal Order of Jesters Court 86; member of the Belleville, Silver Lake, Collinsville and Tri City Shrine Clubs; past member of the Edwardsville Planning Commission; and served at Anderson Hospital in Maryville as trustee, assistant treasurer, executive committee, building committee and special insurance committee.
He is survived by and will be missed by his daughter; Bunny (Mark) VonBokel; his son, Dale (Kris) Barschak; grandchildren, Logan VonBokel, Bret Barschak, Laine Barschak; close friend, Shirley Walters.
In keeping with Tom's wishes there will be no services. Memorials are suggested to Shriner's Hospital. Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City is serving the family.

Illus. Sir Robert Lee Peacock, PP, age 78, of Morgan Township, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Mercy Hospital West. He was born on August 19, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Phillip and Catherine (Jovanovich) Peacock.
He graduated from Loveland High School and on May 12, 1962, he married Phyllis Hill at Pilgrim United Church of Christ. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1965 where he was an aid to General Curtis LeMay.
He was a farrier and was a member of many farrier organizations, including the International Horse Shoeing Farriers Hall of Fame, and had many patents related to the industry. He was a member of Western Hills-Cheviot Lodge #140 F&AM and a life member of the Syrian Temple where he was past Potentate in 2007.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Peacock; three children, Kimberly (Charles) Garn, Michael (Missy Jo) Peacock, and Matthew (Rachel) Peacock; nine grandchildren, Katherine, Karla, Kristin, Karen, Thomas, Eric, Gavin, Grace, and Griffin; one sister, Phyllis (Donald) Fuller; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Mitchell Peacock.
Funeral services will be held at Northwest Community Church, 8735 Cheviot Road, Cincinnati, OH 45251 on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in Bridgetown Cemetery. Immediately following the burial there will be a visitation and celebration of Bob’s life at Receptions Banquet Hall, 3302 Westbourne Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45248.

Illustrious Sir Charles "Charlie" Robert Hulls, age 90, of Columbus, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Willow Brook Christian Home where he received excellent care for over 4 years. Hospice also provided excellent care and companionship as his health declined.
Charlie was a WW II vet, one of only 2 of 7 friends to survive the Battle of the Bulge. Upon his honorable discharge from WW II, he started his working career at National Electric Coil, where he won many national sales awards until his retirement. He was married for 65 years to Marge who preceded him in death in October 2011.
Preceded in death by parents Leo and Ethel Hulls and brother Jack Hulls. Survived by sons, Bradley Hulls (Pam) and James Hulls (Suzie); grandchildren, Michelle Gilbert (Stephen), Kristin Heatherly (Jay), Sarah Hulls and Andrea Hulls; great-grandchildren, Rylie Gilbert, Luke Gilbert and Amy Heatherly; sister-in-law, Stella Hulls. Charlie was a member of West Gate Lodge # 623 for over 65 years; Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus; Royal Order of Jesters and a longtime member and past Potentate of Aladdin Temple Shrine in 1986, where he and Marge enjoyed many lifetime memories and friendships. Charlie and Marge lived a full life traveling extensively throughout the world. Charlie also served on the Foundation Board of Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Illus. Sir Rodney Carl Jordan, PP, age 79, of Bridgeport, Michigan, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the Cartwright Care Residence. Age 79 years. The son of the late Carl and Mildred (Todd) Jordan was born June 3, 1936 on a farm in Woodland, Michigan, where he raised Belgian Draft Horses with his father and farmed with his family. He graduated from Woodland High School, attended Michigan State University and received his Bachelor's Degree from Lansing Community College. He married Beverly Tasker, March 14, 1974. His wife of 42 years survives him.
Rodney was employed by the State of Michigan, Department of Agriculture, working in Lansing, Detroit, Saginaw and the Upper Peninsula, retiring with 28 years of service. He was again employed for the State of Michigan as Supervisor of the Michigan State Fair for 13 years. He was an active member of Bridgeport Community Church for 42 years. He was a Life member of the Bridgeport Masonic Lodge # 258 F. & A.M. where he served as a 5 time Master, he was named lodge Mason of the Year and named District Mason of the Year in 2011. He was a Life member of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine where he served as Potentate in 1997. He was a Life member of the Royal Order of Jesters, Court 74. Throughout his life, Rodney, raised and sold Belgian draft horses, he also built large Budweiser wagons for a hobby. His large family gave him many pleasures.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly, and one son, four daughters and their spouses, Robert Jordan, Lake Odessa, MI; Kathy and Mark Bitney, Grand Ledge, MI; Linda and Jerry Valentine, Saginaw, MI; Cathy and Don Stadler, Mayville, MI; Connie Schnell and Mark Tanner both of Saginaw, MI; his grandchildren, Stephanie and Ryan Pollum; Stacie and Sean Slumka; Travis Bitney; Ashley Valentine; Eric Wood and Kim Pattee; Katelyn Bitney; his great grandchildren, Tucker, Hailey; Kya and Kaiden; his sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Herb Hesterly; several nieces and nephews. A son, Randy Kuhn, has predeceased him.
The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Bridgeport Community Church, 3821 State St. Bridgeport, MI. Rev. Ronald Sinclair will officiate with burial in Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Friday and then at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service. The Bridgeport Lodge # 258 F. & A.M. and the Elf Khurafeh Shrine will conduct a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Friday. Brother Rodney C. Jordan was raised a Master Mason May 21, 1958 in Woodland Lodge #304. He served Bridgeport #258 as Master in 1984-5 and 2010-2013, and was presently Chaplain of #258. Rod was District Mason of the Year in 2011.
Scottish Rite
Brother Rod received the 32nd Degree at Bay City Scottish Rite May 4th, 1977.
He was a long time member of the 20th Degree Team, received the Silver Membership Award in 1997, he was an extra on Scottish Rite Masonic Degree Teams in 2002.
Shrine
Noble Jordan was created a Noble of Elf Khurafeh Shrine May 11th, 1977. Rod served our Shrine as Potentate in 1997, and was A Life Permanent Contributing Member. Some of the Clubs he belonged to are; Circus Park Shrine Club, Oasis Shrine Club, Hillbilly Clan #55, Circus Committee Member and current Vice-President of the Trustees. Rod was a Life member of Royal Order of Jesters, Court #74 and was serving as President of Jesters of Ontario Michigan. P.P. Jordan was a very active Shriner and will be greatly missed by Elf Khurafeh Shrine.

Dale is survived by his son: Dr. Robert (Lauren) Morgan; grandchildren: Kara and Andrew Morgan; mother: Lorabelle Morgan; sisters: Ronna Eisengart and Vicki Smith (Joseph); brother: Scott Morgan; mother-in-law: Minnie Horath, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dale is preceded in death by his wife: Sheila Morgan and father: Thomas Morgan.
Dale recently retired from AAA Insurance after over 35 years of service. Dale was a longtime member of Orak Shrine Temple in Michigan City, IN and was currently serving his term as Potentate of Orak Shrine for 2016. He was a member of Westville Lodge #192, F&AM; member of the Royal Order of Jesters; Past President of the Orak Arab Patrol Unit, which was the first unit Dale joined after becoming a Shriner; and a member of the Ushers at the Shriners Hospital in Chicago. He enjoyed spending time with his son and loved being “Boppa” to his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and his pet companions: Baron and Kasper. Dale also was veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Illus. Sir Arthur Paul Shillington, PP, age 75, of Chatham, Ontario Canada, passed away passed away peacefully at the hospital in London on May 19, 2016. Born in Chatham 75 years ago to the late Clare and Edith (Kelly) Shillington. He is survived by his three daughters, Kelly Shillington, Lynn (Pat) Pearson, Heather (Matt) Boswell. Also survived by brothers Peter (Ruth) Shillington and James (Mary) Shillington, nephews Harold (Dawn) and Cameron Shillington, nieces Gen (Dr. David) Huffman and Kim Shillington. Paul was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Carole Elaine Shillington.
Paul enjoyed travelling, golfing, curling and sailing. His real passion was serving the Blenheim Shrine Club. He was a Mason, Shriner and Jester for over 60 years and Potentate in 1999. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Bridget and Bryan Lyne, Madelyn, Jacob, Alex, Abigail, Isaac, Jonathin Pearson, Danielle Laier, Benjamin and Samantha Boswell. He will also be missed by special friend Hartley Luckey.

High Priest and Prophet, Noble Sir Jon Robert Beach age 54 of La Porte, IN, formerly of Portsmouth, VA, passed away unexpectantly on Saturday July 2, 2016 as a result of a motor vehicle accident n Bushnell, FL. Jon is survived by his wife, Michelle (Cowels) Beach; children, Steven (Megan) Beach, Ian Beach, Carl Whitaker, Matthew Whitaker and Daniel (Janelle) Whitaker; grandchildren, Lincoln Beach, Jon Whitaker, Maxwell Whitaker, Taylor Whitaker, Taylor Albertson, Makenzie Albertson, Evelyn Albertson, Courtney Mead, Chad George Jr., Wade Whitaker, Kama Whitaker, Jonathan Whitaker, Donna Carter, Riley Hammell, and Chloe Hammell.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jean (Roberts) Beach and his son, Anthony William Beach.
Jon was a 1980 graduate of La Porte high school. He was currently working as an Equipment Service Technician for Patterson Dental Supply Company. Jon proudly served our country in the US Navy.
He was a Past Master of Excelsior No. 41 FandAM in La Porte, Orak Shrine in Michigan City, where he served as High Priest and Profit, President of the Great Lakes Shrine Association of Motor Corps, York Rite of La Porte, Scottish Rite of South Bend, as well as a member of the American Legion Riders Chapter 83 of La Porte, Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association, and the Polish Falcons of America Nest 564.
Jon was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a valued friend to many who will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Avenue La Porte, IN.

Illustrious Sir Robert Bowen Bailey, 90, of Ogden Dunes, IN passed away peacefully on August 18th. He was born in Evansville, Indiana to the Rev. Dr. Joyce J. and Serena B. Bailey. He graduated from Crown Point High School and attended college at DePauw University for two years and then two years at the University of Evansville; where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He later served on the Board of Trustees at the University of Evansville and for his Masonic and community service on behalf of children, he was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
While in college Bob met Sarah Dorman of Gary, Indiana; they were married for 58 years until Sarah’s death in 2007. He was preceded in death by Sarah; their son, Jim (Kristin Weis) and his sister, Evelyn & brother-in-law, Guy Slaughter.
Bob is survived by his sons; John (Janis Lourgos) and Bill (Debby Owens). John and Jan have their daughter Caroline. Bill and Deb have two sons; Rob (Jacqueline Beaulieu) and Ross (Jessica Anderson), Kris Bailey (Weis) has three children Lauren (Brock Shipley), great-grandson Isaac; Jordan (Emily Richardson-Rossbach) and Leslie (Adam Marlatt). He was particularly proud of his nephew Geoffrey G. Slaughter (Julie Randolph), who was recently appointed as a justice to the Indiana Supreme Court.
Masonically, Bob started as a DeMolay in 1941 and became a Master Mason in 1951, Scottish Rite in 1951 and joining Orak Temple in 1952. In 1969, Bob served as Potentate of Orak Shrine. In 1979, Bob was coronated a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He served as Imperial Potentate of Shriners International in 1995-1996, and as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Prior to that, he served for 13 years on the Board of Governors at Shriners Hospital for Children for the Chicago Hospital. During that time he served as Secretary and later as Vice-Chairman of the Board before being named as an Emeritus Member of the Chicago Hospital Board.
Bob served on the Indiana Masonic Home Board for six years, three of those as Chairman of the Board. In 1996 he was given the Caleb B. Smith award by the Grand Lodge of Indiana.
Bob was President of Fifth Avenue Motors, a Buick Automobile Agency and Monarch Oil, distributors of gasoline, oil and lubricants, both in Gary, IN. In 1996, for his distinguished service to humanity, the Governor of the State of Indiana awarded him the Sagamore of the Wabash.
Visitation for Bob will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church of Portage, 2637 McCool Road, Portage from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a Masonic Service at 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will take place Monday, August 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at the church. He will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Illustrious Sir Richard Michael Keltner, 70, came into this world on March 7, 1946 in Keokuk, Iowa. The family moved to Kankakee, Illinois where Mike attended primary grades, high school and attended college.
His life would soon change as he decided to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1965. After intensive training, Mike was sent overseas to Vietnam to fight against the Communist Regime. It was there that Mike proved what he was made of. Mike was awarded the Bronze Star with combat "V" for valor for heroic achievement while serving with his unit, the Marine Attack Squadron #211 during the Tet Offensive of 1968. Mike said one of the lasting legacies he experienced was a genuine appreciation for the courage demonstrated by his fellow Marines. Mike faced death many times during his tour. These experiences are what molded him as a man.
Mike was a volunteer at Bradley Fire Department and worked other various jobs before forming his own company known as ITEC Trailer Corp. This business bought, sold, and leased new and used semi-trailers to the trade. Besides this business, Mike founded another known as LANDCO, L.L.C., which owns and leases property to major trucking concerns. He continued these ventures until retirement in 2012. Mike devoted many years to philanthropy.
The following is a list of entities that Mike belonged to: He was a Shriner with Medinah and held the Roundy Jewel. His Blue Lodge is Neighbor Lodge #1168 of which he was it's Worshipful Master in 2005, and is a life member there. He belonged to the Scottish Rite Valley of Danville and Chicago and also the three York Rite bodies. He belonged to the Red Cross of Constantine, St. John's Conclave. He was Chairman Emeritus of the Greeter Committee, a Potentate's Aide in 2005, and Past President of the Joliet Shrine Club. Mike was the Director of Committees for Medinah and a member of the Medinah Patrol Unit. He was a member of El Hajj, Caravanseri #1 Chicago and he was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, Court #48 and a past Director of it plus being a Royal Constable. He was a member of Jesters on Wheels and a member of the Kachina Club. He was a member of the Benevolent Order of Crabs and an honorary member of the Demolay Legion of Honor. Further, he was past Secretary of the Chicago Kentucky Colonels. He was a member of the VFW, the Marine Corps League and Vietnam Veterans of America. Lastly, Mike was a member of Illinois College Societas Rosicruciana #429, Cibitaibus Foederatis which has its roots in the York Rite. He was a honorary member of the NexGen Club, and on the Board of Governors of the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Mike was the 2015 Potentate of Medinah Shrine and a member of Cabiri International.
